June 4, 1787 while debating about presidential power, Benjamin Franklin offered a warning: “The first man put at the helm will be a good one. No body knows what sort may come afterwards. The executive will be always increasing here, as elsewhere, till it ends in a monarchy.” Franklin opposed an absolute veto over the legislature because “more power and money would be demanded, till at last eno’ would be gotten to influence & bribe the Legislature into compleat subjections to the will of the Executive.” Roger Sherman said, “No man could be found so far above the rest in wisdom.”

What happens if Trump is elected to 2nd term president?
Three things happen.
1) The will of the people is demonstrated by re-election.
2) The constitution designed to limit presidential powers will have failed. People lost trust in the government siding with the removed president. This means that Roger Sherman was wrong. One man CAN be found above the rest in wisdom and Benjamin Franklin will have been correct when saying “executive will be always increasing here, as elsewhere, till it ends in a monarchy.”
3) We’d be under the rule of King Trump.
People, pay more attention to history if meddling with American politics. I do not mind… but while Democrat stir up the nation and bring us closer to our 2nd civil war… it is sad to see the only people who pay the price are every day people who hear this rhetoric from our national leaders. I say let’s cut the chase and move Trump to King sooner than later.

I think you have this 180. It is Trump who has been trying to save the Democracy and do things peaceful. Trump did not prosecute Hillary Clinton, or any of the corrupt Democrats. However now that the tables are turned, we see Biden fully prosecute Trump with made up charges to prevent him from a 2nd presidency. Now that the Democrats are fully exposed as selling out our nation in multiple ways… to China, to Ukraine, letting our country fill up with migrants and many are known to be terrorists. If the actions are not clear enough to understand, just look at the national debt. It has now spiked… because there is no intention to pay it off. The US is now on countdown before the US goes bankrupt. We just had our first credit rating drop in decades… so we can clearly see the state of the union.
